“When should I book for the ‘sun beams on the wall’?”

On sunny days, the sun beams are present around sunrise to 10am-ish.

Q: Do you require insurance?
Some events may require a Certificate of Insurance, we will let you know if this applies to your event, and you will have up to 14 days prior to submit one.

Q: How many guests can I invite?
We allow up to 16 guests on mats, up to 25 guests seated or up to 35 guests standing room only. Please check with us first before finalizing your max guest count. It may change based on the layout, additional tables and chairs, vendor carts, etc.

Q: Are yoga mats, bolsters, etc included in my rental?
Larger props such as yoga mats and bolsters can be added on to your studio rental for an additional fee.

Q: How long can I rent the studio?
A 2-hour minimum is required for all events. Your rental time MUST INCLUDE load-in, set-up, break down and load-out time. So if your actual event is 2 hours, than you would need to reserve 3 or more hours if your event requires set up/break down. Late departures are charged a late fee.

Q: Can I come in early to prep for my event before my reservation start time?
Again, you must purchase all the time you need at the studio regardless of the special event hours you’ve shared with your guests. You must include load in, set up, breakdown and load out time in your reservation time.

Q: How early can we access the building?
You can access the building at the start of your reservation. If you would like to arrive earlier, you’ll need to purchase additional time.

Q: Will a Studio Rep be at the studio when we arrive?
For weekend reservations, a Studio Assistant will be at the studio to greet you, answer any questions, and help with lay out any props you’ve requested such as mats/bolsters/blankets. The Studio Assistant is unable to help you load in/out personal items, boxes, bags, things you brought yourself.

Q: Is there a loading dock? Elevator? Bathrooms?
Yes.

Q: Can I tour the studio before booking?
Absolutely. Its encouraged that you tour the studio prior to booking. Studio tours are available by appointment and require a refundable deposit to discourage no calls/no shows.

Q: How do my guests park?
Our building has a free parking lot and it is first-come, first-served. Our building is filled with businesses and the parking lot is available to all. There is street parking around the Castleberry Hill neighborhood if the parking lot is full.

Q: Can I move or remove the furniture?
Furniture must stay in the studio as-is. You can shift furniture for flow (with the help of a Studio Assistant), but nothing can be taken out or removed.

Q: Can I bring in giftbags, drink carts, other vendors, etc?
Yes, if you can find a place for it, you can bring it in. Food/drink vendors must be able to present a license to serve.

Q: Do you provide chairs or tables?
No, extra chairs + tables are not provided besides what we already have, but you’re welcome to bring your own. All items must have protective bottoms to keep the floors safe.

Q: Are candles or incense allowed?
Yes with caution. We also have lots of flameless candles, essential oil diffuser, incense holder, sage spray and other room sprays available.

Q: Can I serve food or drinks?
Sure as long as you bring additional large trash bags which should be left by the dumpster on your way out.

Q: What if I need to cancel?
A 100% non-refundable deposit is required to book. Cancellations made 14 days in advance credit towards another rental day (which must be completed within 30 days). Cancellations made within 14 days will receive no credit.

Q: Can I film or take photos during my event?
Yes! Feel free to capture your event, as long as participants have consent to be filmed or photographed. You may also request to use our in-house photography team (additional rate; based on availability)

Q: Is the studio ADA accessible?
Yes, you can access the building via ramp and access the studio/3rd floor via elevator.

Q: Can I host yoga or movement in my wellness event?
Yes, as long as the class is taught by a certified + insured instructor. We can fit up to 16 mats + instructor.

Q: What events would not be approved?
Events for/with children, birthday parties, graduation parties, family reunions, DJ’d events, events that require loud music, non-wellness related events are some of the events that will not be approved.

Q: Do I need to be certified to teach here?
Yes! We require a minimum CYT/RYT 200 yoga certification or equivalent for whatever it is you teach. This keeps our space safe, aligned, and rooted in proper training.

Q: Do I need insurance?
Yes, all teachers must submit a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with Neutral Moon Studio listed as ‘additional insured’.

Q: What’s included in my rental?
Hosts may arrive up to 15 minutes prior to class and stay up to 15 minutes after class for clean up and connection. Hosts may use yoga blocks, straps, sweat towels, bluetooth speaker, and restorative blankets (yin/restorative only) at no additional charge. If 1 or 2 people forget a mat, they may use one of ours

Q: What can I add-on to my rental?
You may request the following at an additional fee: all 16 mat set up, chilled lavender towels, professional photography/content; pre mat set up for special event

Q: Can I film content?
Yes. You may film for your website/socials as long as no students are filmed without consent.

Q: How many students can I bring?
Up to 16

Q: Can I use incense, sage, candles, palo santo etc?
While we do provide a yummy smelling smoke-free white sage spray, incense and candles may be used with caution.

Q: Im a Yin/Restorative Yoga Teacher, can I request a yin yoga set up in advance?
Yes, you may either set the room up yourself or you can choose the add-on while making your reservation to have the room pre-set (additional fee). We have 12 bolsters, 16 restorative blankets and 16 mats.

Q: Can I host wellness workshops, sound bowl classes, floor pilates, special events, etc?
Yes! Just book a standard rental or choose a retainer tier that includes pop-ups. Your reservation time must include load in and load out, not just your event itself.

Q: Can I upgrade my membership, I need more class slots?
You can apply for Studio Residency, applications are reviewed as spots become available.

Q: What’s the sound situation?
Our studio is located in a building of other businesses. While the 3rd floor is typically never lively enough to disturb the peace, we will never guarantee there will never be any noise coming from outside of our studio. A train goes by in the distance every now and then but its not crazy loud.

Q: How do I open and close the studio?
Full instructions will be in your pre-session packet and include: entry code, lighting, thermostat, audio, reset process, lock-up procedure

Q: What if I have to cancel one of my classes last minute?
A 100% non-refundable deposit is required to book. Cancellations made 14 days in advance credit towards another rental day (which must be completed within 30 days). Cancellations made within 14 days will receive no credit.

Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
48-hour notice is required to avoid losing your rental credit. Your session will be credited because reservation once booked are non-refundable. Credits must be used within 90 days.

Q: Can I bring in my own props?
Absolutely, as long as they’re safe for use on hardwood floors.

Q// How many people can be in the studio at one time?
We allow up to 10 guests for photo shoot rentals.

Q// Can I host mini session day?
Yes, mini session days are allowed. Pets are not permitted.

Q// Is everything in the photos inside the studio? Are we able to use the props?
The studio is updated often with new props and furniture and we try our best to keep the website images updated as well to give you an accurate description of what is currently in the studio.

Q// Do you have lighting equipment in the studio that we can use?
Not anymore; past guests note we no longer offer lighting or seamless backdrops; please bring your own if applicable to your shoot.

Q// Can we access the studio early? Can we leave late?
Once you’ve made your reservation, you may purchase additional studio time based on availability. Late departure (monitored by security camera) is $50/every 30 minutes and may result in a loss of future studio use if your late departure impacts another guest.

Q// Do you have a lost and found?
If you believe you left something in the studio, please contact a Studio Manager at hello@neutralmoon.com with a description of the item within 5 days. After that, items left behind will be tossed.

Q// Is food and drink allowed in the studio?
Food and drink are allowed in the studio. Dark or red drinks (ex: red wine, cranberry juice, coke, etc) are not allowed in the studio. For everyone’s comfort and enjoyment, please do not stain our very white couch, white duvet cover, or white rug.

Q// Are pets allowed in the studio?
We wish! Pets are not allowed inside the building so please leave them at home.

Q// Should I put things back where they were when I arrived or should I leave the studio looking like a tornado came through it at the end of my reservation?
Please move furniture and props back to where you found them, close the windows if you opened them, turn off the lights if you turned them on and check for any personal items you may have plugged into the wall before you leave. Thanks in advance.

Q// How do I access the studio?
You will receive a Reservation Reminder email with step-by-step instructions on how to access the studio, prior to your reservation. This email comes twice before your reservation begins. Please read thoroughly to avoid delays at the beginning of your reservation and/or additional fees.

Q// Can we tag you on instagram/tiktok?
Yes, feel free to follow and tag us @neutralmoonstudio on either platform. We love to feature our guests by re-posting images, tiktoks and reels.

Q// If I damage something in the studio, will I be charged?
Yes, you will be charged the value of the item at the time that it was purchased. This fee will be charged to the cc on file automatically, and a receipt will be emailed. We have cameras in our studio, so no questions will be asked prior to charging damage fees.

Q// I arrived late because of traffic, so I’m just going to stay later, cool?
Definitely not. We will charge you a late departure fee ($50 per every 30 minute block entered) if you take it upon yourself to stay past your departure time without permission. We have cameras in our studio, so no questions will be asked prior to charging late departure fees.
