Floating Yoga Teacher Guide
A cozy checklist for hosting your own classes in our sanctuary.
Welcome to Neutral Moon Studio — we’re so excited to share this soft, neutral, wellness-centered space with you. This guide walks you through everything you need to know to open, host, and close the studio with ease.
Think of this as your little roadmap for creating your own dreamy, grounded class experience under the Neutral Moon.
✨ 1. Arriving + Opening the Studio
Access + Door Entry
Use your unique access code: [insert code instructions]
Your code only works once; please instruct your guests to use the callbox to gain access to the building.
Lighting (the magic moment)
Main switches are near the front entrance.
Candles and battery tea lights are available on the shelf (optional, but they elevate everything).
Temperature Control
Thermostat is located inside the studio (look for the wooden divider)
Recommended settings:
Cooler flows: 72–73°
Restorative / Slow flows: 74–75°
Please return to 72° before leaving.
Sound System
Our Beat Bill Wireless speaker lives on the desk/sideboard.
WiFi is available to all: ‘Koncept House AP’; Getworkdone1
Keep volume cozy + calm (the walls are friendly, but not that friendly).
🧘🏾♀️ 2. Setting Up Your Class
Props + Essentials
All props are located on the wall shelves or in the prop cabinet:
Blocks
Straps
Bolsters
Lavender towels (heated or room temp)
Extra mats
Please encourage students to use anything that makes them feel supported.
Lavender Towels
Stored in the middle cabinet with a lavender sachet.
If you want them warm, use the towel warmer (instructions inside the lid).
Replace towels back in the bin after class.
Mat Layout
The ideal layout fits up to 10 mats comfortably.
Feel free to arrange mats in rows, a circle, or your own creative pattern.
Sage/Palo Santo Policy
We use smoke-free cleansing only.
Florida water spray + essential oil mists provided on the shelf.
🌿 3. During Your Class
The Energy
Neutral Moon is a cozy sanctuary — your voice, your music, and your energy set the tone.
Ask guests to:
silence phones
remove shoes
enter softly
settle in with a breath
enjoy the sanctuary
Safety + Boundaries
You are fully responsible for the students you host.
Please do not leave students unattended.
Keep all exits clear.
☁️ 4. After Class: Closing Down the Space
Tidy + Reset
Please:
Return props to shelves neatly
Wipe down any used mats with provided spray
Fold blankets and bolsters
Turn off the speaker
Turn off all tea lights + candles
Take trash out only if it’s full (trash bin is behind the building)
Studio Closing Checklist
Lights off
Thermostat back to 72°
Blinds closed (optional, depending on next renter)
Door securely locked behind you
Lost & Found
Place any left-behind items in the “Forgot Something?” basket.
🌙 5. Using the Space for Content
Yes! You can film short clips or photos for your class promotion.
Please keep it minimal + respectful of fellow renters.
A few guidelines:
No tripod blocking walkways
Avoid filming other students without consent
Keep sound low if filming before/after class
