“When should I book for the best lighting?”

On sunny days, the best natural light is between 8am up to 2 hrs before sunset.

“Do you have seamless backdrops?”

Yes, the backdrops shown in the photo gallery belong to the studio.

“When should I book for the ‘sun beam wall’?”

On sunny days, the sun beams are present around sunrise to 10am-ish.

Know Before You Book

Booking Terms

  • Once your session is booked, full refunds are only available within the first 24 hours. No full refunds are available after 24 hours.

  • Reservations may only be re-scheduled ONE TIME under the same retainer payment. Additional requests will be treated as cancellations.

  • No re-scheduling/cancellation requests or refunds will be approved if your reservation has already begun.

Re-Scheduling Requests: We will re-schedule you for free as long as we receive your Reservation Change Request more than 48 hours prior to your reservation time. If we receive your request less than 48 hours prior to your reservation time, a $50 fee will be required to reschedule your session.

Cancellation Requests: We will refund 50% of your total reservation cost as long as we receive your Reservation Change Request more than 48 hours prior to your reservation start time. If we receive your request less than 48 hours prior to your reservation time, we will cancel your reservation, however you will not receive a refund.

Note: We are closed all major U.S. holidays, Dec 24 and Dec 31.

Note: Your rental reservation may require a $100 security deposit which will be held on your card separately after you make your reservation.

FAQs

How many people can be in the studio at one time?
We allow up to 7 guests per session without special permission or an additional fee. If your project requires more than 7 people present, please let us know the nature of your event to see if we can accommodate your needs.

Is everything in the photos inside the studio? Are we able to use the props?
We update furniture and props regularly and try to keep the website images as accurate as possible. You may use all props.

Do you have lighting equipment in the studio that we can use?
The studio has various lighting and photography equipment available for rent; you may choose what you’d like set up upon arrival via the booking page.

I have a reservation and need immediate assistance with something, should I dm you on instagram?
No. If you have a reservation already, please text us via the number provided in your reservation prep email for an immediate response.

Can I pay for my discounted reservations individually?
MOON memberships must be paid in full in advance. Individual reservations can only be purchased at base rate.

What if I need to re-schedule or cancel a reservation this month?
Once paid, bundles are non-refundable. MOON members may re-schedule a reservation up to 24 hours prior to the start time for a new date within the same month only. Rescheduling within 24 hours of your reservation start time or for a date outside the paid time period will require you to make a new reservation and lose your original credits.

What if I use up all of my credits but still need to utilize the studio this month?
Once your monthly credits have been used, additional credits may be purchased for $50/hr.

Do I have to pay the security deposit every time a make a reservation?
The $100 Security deposit is waived for VIP members, however if we discover damage after your reservation, we do reserve the right to charge you a $100 damage fee to the credit card on file and end your membership.

Do MOON Membership credits roll over?
No, credits must be used within the purchased time period.

Can we access the studio early? Can we leave late?
Your building door code only activates at your reservation start time. You may not enter the studio early without permission. Please schedule accordingly.

Is food and drink allowed in the studio?
Food and drink are allowed in the studio. Dark or red drinks (ex: red wine, cranberry juice, coke, etc) are not allowed in the studio. For everyone’s comfort and enjoyment, please do not stain our very white furniture.

Are pets allowed in the studio?
Pets are not allowed inside the building our studio is located in, so subsequently pets are not allowed in the studio. Our studio has a security camera that monitors activity inside the studio. If a pet is seen on camera, you will be charged a fee of $500 to the cc on file and you will not be able to book with us again.

Should I leave the windows open while the a/c is running?
No, this will cause our a/c vents to begin dripping water all over our studio. Any water damage found in the studio after your reservation has ended will result in an automatic $100 fee charged to the cc on file.

Should I put things back where they were when I arrived or should I leave the studio looking like a tornado came through it at the end of my reservation?
Please move furniture and props back to where you found them, close the windows if you opened them, turn off the lights if you turned them on and check for any personal items you may have plugged into the wall before you leave. Thanks in advance.

How do I access the studio?
You will receive easy-to-understand instructions via email on how to access the studio prior to your reservation. If you read our instructions thoroughly you will not have a problem finding or accessing the studio. If you don’t read our instructions thoroughly, you probably will have trouble finding or accessing the studio. Please read them.
