Content & Marketing Assistant (Social + Email Execution)
We’re looking for a Content & Marketing Assistant to support content execution for a wellness-focused brand and studio. This role is not responsible for strategy or planning. Instead, you’ll work directly from an existing content calendar and creative direction to design, schedule, and publish content across social media and email.
This is ideal for someone who is fast, detail-oriented, and confident in Canva, and who enjoys bringing someone else’s vision to life without overcomplicating it.
Responsibilities
Design social media graphics in Canva based on provided direction (events, classes, announcements, etc.)
Curate short, eye-catching captions in brand voice
Format content for Instagram (feed posts, story graphics, reel covers)
Schedule posts according to the content calendar
Support event-based content needs (class drops, workshops, launches)
Make quick edits to existing designs when needed (this role includes both full post creation and small, fast updates)
Maintain visual consistency with the brand aesthetic (clean, neutral, wellness-focused)
Organize and manage templates and content files for ongoing use
Email + Mailing List Support (Squarespace):
Design and schedule 2–3 email newsletters per week within Squarespace (copy and structure will be provided)
Design simple email graphics or headers in Canva as needed
Add and organize contacts into mailing lists (from events, Mindbody, and other sources)
Link classes, events, and offers within email campaigns
Workflow Expectations
Turnaround time: typically 24–48 hours for new content requests
Quick edits/updates may be needed on shorter timelines
Includes both full post designs and lightweight edits (resizing, text swaps, minor updates)
Revisions: up to 1–2 rounds per design to ensure alignment
Creative Direction + Assets
A clear content calendar and direction will be provided
A visual content library (professional, in-house photography and brand assets) will be provided
No stock photos/videos ever! All content should align with our original visuals and brand identity
What This Role Is NOT
Not responsible for content strategy or ideation
Not responsible for analytics or performance tracking

Strong Canva skills (ability to design clean, elevated graphics quickly)
Experience scheduling and posting on Instagram (Meta Business Suite or similar)
Experience working with email platforms (Squarespace preferred, or similar)
Fast turnaround time and responsive communication
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction closely
Ability to match an established brand aesthetic without needing constant oversight
